Verdict

Dermot Weld has won this four times in ten years including with subsequent Ascot Gold Cup winner Rite Of Passage. It's unlikely that FIRST FIGARO will reach such heights but he was only caught in the final strides over 2m2f at Punchestown and should go one better. The four-year-old Another Cyclone made a promising start at Fairyhouse in April but Lord De Beaufai was a long way behind the selection at Punchestown before running well at Downpatrick then flopping on his next start there. Henry De Bromhead's newcomer Sizing Alberta pulled up on his only start between the flags but will be expected to pay his way before long.
