      Verdict

Ashutor, a winner on the Flat in France, was probably in need of the experience when finding one too good at Ludlow last month but may have to settle for a minor berth again here behind the four-year-old ZAFAR, who improved on his second at Taunton when filling the same position at Ascot. Tarada was second to the useful Dashel Drasher, who has won since, at Chepstow and rates a danger while Grange Ranger has shown promise and makes more appeal than the penalised Shannon Hill. Helford River could be one for handicaps down the line.
