Verdict

I Can Run Can You was no match for Tegan Lee when well backed for his handicap bow but he is 8lbs better off for 8 lengths and is open to more improvement so should be able to finish closer. It would be no surprise to see him go well but it may be worth giving another chance to PARAZAR who has been running well enough to think that a race of this nature might go his way. He drops down in trip having looked in need of a longer test on his penultimate start but a more positive ride at this distance may pay dividends. Bollywood won impressively when last seen on just his second start for this yard so it's conceivable that he may be able to leave his previous inconsistent efforts behind. Happy Fleet scored more recently over course and distance and may have more to offer with a good conditional in the plate.
