Verdict

Just the four runners turn up for this Novice Chase and the performance of DREAM FALCON in a similar race in quick conditions last time is enough for him to get the vote with Prince Vector and Chunky Lad the main dangers of the other three. Taunton was the venue for the selection's last success where he beat only two rivals. He did things well that day and is the only one in the field with proven qualities on quick going. Prince Vector ran a solid race in a similar company last time but was well beaten and it could be argued all of his best performances have come on softer conditions under hoof. Chunky Lad has only really shown his best in sellers including destroying the field last time and though he has more to do in this company but a repeat of that last run has him close. Lethal Gun has shown nothing to suggest a challenge here and is probably best ignored but is tight between the other three and Dream Falcon looks the best of that trio.
