Verdict

Leg Lock Luke looked certain to win jumping the last at Taunton last month but was outpaced on the run-in by the in-form Amber Gambler. Colin Tizzard’s maiden has been left on the same mark and a first victory shouldn’t be far off but JOHNS LUCK probably came up against a well-handicapped mare at Huntingdon last week when attempting a hat-trick and is much improved this season. With Harry Reed again taking off 7lb, the top=weight can pick up the winning thread again. Quinto, a winner between the flags, showed the anticipated improvement when switched to fences at Exeter and has scope. He looks a better bet than either Ballycoe or Bredon Hill Lad.
