    Verdict

Corkan took advantage of a most lenient handicap mark when scoring in decisive fashion at Plumpton in March and should make a bold bid to follow up in receipt of plenty of weight from his main rivals. Course and distance scorer Primero has not been seen since taking a crashing fall here in September and may just need this while Drum Battle has twice disappointed since landing a Warwick heat in February (now 11lb higher) and Interdit has still to prove he stays. Woodlands Beau's jumping fails to inspire and Light Reflections, a dour stayer, may be a bigger threat.
