Verdict

This looks a stronger heat than the first division. Saffron Wells showed promise in three runs in Ireland for John Kiely while Guest Of Honour wasn't beaten far in two runs on the Polytrack last winter, though disappointed when odds-on at Exeter in May. THIRD ACT may have been unlucky when sent off favourite for his debut at Newton Abbot in May as he was going easily when clipping the heels of the leader and brought to a standstill. He still managed to finish third and can make amends here as he has a very decent NH pedigree. Winner pointer Lily Waugh only found one too good on her debut under Rules at Ffos Las and should be winning soon.
