Verdict

Genny Wren is still a maiden but she stays well and is not without a chance of breaking her duck on her comeback. Veteran Royal Kicks won over 3m2f at Plumpton last season but Corso Palladio probably still has a few pounds too much and Sandy's Double didn't show a great deal over hurdles a couple of years ago. SAPPHIRE ROUGE won over 2m7f here in the spring and held his own in a couple of races at a higher level thereafter. Seamus Mullins' mare can give the weight to Absolute Shambles, who finally took advantage of a tumbling mark at Worcester last month but is hardly consistent.
