In depth

Verdict

Iheardu was pulled up in his only previous run over hurdles but has been in good form over fences and is potentially well treated if he gets his act together over the smaller obstacles. Andrew Thornton's mount is preferred to stablemate Mtpockets while Rhyton is facing a stiff task at the weights for a four-year-old. Mr Valentino is 6lb higher than when a beaten favourite at Worcester in July but Absolute Shambles has been a revelation since switching back to hurdles and may not have stopped winning yet. Preference here, however, is for TIGER LINE who has proved most consistent this summer and certainly wasn't winning out of turn over this trip at Newton Abbot last month. She's gone up in the weights but still looks the best option.
