In depth

Verdict

The six runners in this race have more than 40 starts over fences between them but only one, WAIT NO MORE, has so far managed to get his head in front. Neil Mulholland's front-runner is usually consistent and, though he usually finds at least one too good, may get a soft lead here and could well hold on. Fongoli returns from an absence, but Marc Aurele finished fourth at Market Rasen last week and Jan Jandura has been in action over hurdles. Tim Vaughan's charge makes his chasing debut today but has won between the flags and can't be ignored. Sadler's Star is a very ordinary novice, while Alldunnandusted fell at Hereford in June and hasn't raced since.
