    Verdict

In the second division of the fillies' maiden race, the eye is immediately drawn to High School who looks to hold solid claims ahead of, possibly, Pella, Olympias and Kali. Much as she is unraced, the David Loder-trained filly is impeccably bred, being a full-sister to the top-class In The Wings and the betting market is likely to provide a big clue as to her chances here. The probability is, though, that she will be a short price. Illeana is also well-related but she showed little in two juvenile starts. Pella and Olympias are others to like on breeding, while Kali certainly showed a good deal of promise on her al-weather Lingfield debut and should improve with that experience under her belt. The John Gosden-trained Bowstring will probably need further than this in time. Overall, then, it's hard to get away from High School, who gets the vote.
