Verdict

An interesting contest with some well-bred newcomers from top yards taking on those with more established form. Dance In The Sun falls in to the latter category and ran a race full of promise behind a useful performer over a mile at Lingfield last month. The step up in trip will suit and this daughter of Halling sets the standard for the others to aim at. Swiftmix showed some respectable form in turf maidens last term and looks capable of taking a hand while John Dunlop saddles Sea Ridge, who is a daughter of Slip Anchor and, along with fellow debutante Heavenly Bay, should be noted in the exchanges.
