In depth

Verdict

Lupita was good value for her win at Bath earlier this month and, given the continued good form of Brendan Powell's runners, she is taken to follow up off just a 3lb higher mark today and score at the main expense of Best Selection and Great View. The last mentioned ran an encouraging race on her reappearance on Lingfield's Polytrack earlier this month and he would have claims if able to build on that effort. Willie Muir has got his string in good heart at present but his runner Rock 'n' Roller would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge, while Icannshift gave little sign for encouragement on his return. Best Selection has shown gradual improvement in recent starts on the Polytrack and has to be considered but it will take a good performance to get the better of Lupita, who is hard to oppose.
