In depth

Verdict

This is a good option for Copperbottomed to extend his run of good form. Swindon Town Flyer and Regal Veil appear to be the main obstacles standing in the way. The last named has only raced on the All Weather since her introduction at Yarmouth last August, so has a bit to prove regarding her ability to handle the surface. She may well improve for the switch to turf, though. So she may well be one to bear in mind should there be negative vibes about the favourite. Swindon Town Flyer will strip fitter for his reappearance at Southwell last month and is no forlorn hope in race of this nature. However, Copperbottomed has been in irrepressible form of late and, even though he has risen to a career highest mark, he has been found a really good opening to land his third successive victory since the start of last month.
