Verdict

It will be a little bit surprising if Borouj is not good enough to see off the likes of Celtique and Bling Bling and get off the mark today. Not many of the rest have shown much to write home about, so a move for the Henry Cecil-trained Louise d'Arzens could prove to be significant. Cecil's newcomer is a well-bred type that should be suited by this trip and a touch further in due course. Bling Bling was not given a hard time when her chance had gone at Goodwood when she was last seen out. However, the fact that she has been off since June has to be of concern, as others may be a little sharper. Celtique is certain to be a popular choice when her fillies allowance is taken into account. However, she has looked one paced in her previous attempts around this trip and is not one to rely upon too heavily. Especially as Borouj sets the standard on the official BHB ratings. The son of Unfuwain looks an honest type that will no doubt try and make this a good test. And with a lack of speed evident amongst his main rivals, it will come as no surprise to see Borouj burn them all off in the finale.
