Verdict

A trappy contest in which recent Brighton winner Heneseys Leg is expected to defy a penalty at the expense of Desert Royalty and Tender Falcon. Lisa Jones won aboard Heneseys Leg with something to spare on Monday and a connections will be keen to get another victory in before the handicapper has a chance to reassess. Desert Royalty similarly beat a horse called Royal Portrait at Brighton a couple of days earlier but John Berry's charge was arguably the more impressive in doing so and is duly given the nod. Tender Falcon stole a contest over ten furlongs thanks chiefly to a tactical ride by Frankie McDonald. The gelding is at least consistent and shouldn't be too far away again here. Piri Piri was behind Tender Falcon on their last meeting but is better in at today's weights. Bluegrass Beau has it all to do. We won't change a winning combination though and we will stick with Heneseys Leg and Lisa Jones to land today's contest.
