In depth

Verdict

AP McCoy was on board OLD DREAMS when the latter landed the odds in a bumper at Fontwell last month. A half-sister to a hurdles winner, Nick Gifford 's mare is expected to take to the obstacles and come out best in the opener. Chilworth Screamer and Floral Spinner are also bumper winners though the latter made a much better start over timber when third at Plumpton but Umadachar looks a bigger threat. Her placed efforts in bumpers at Sandown and Aintree earlier this year entitle her to consideration despite making only a modest debut over hurdles at Towcester recently.
