In depth

Verdict

Mission Complete has shown nothing in three starts this season and has slipped down the weights as a consequence. By contrast, PETE THE FEAT has been in fine form winning both starts last month and is taken to defy a 9lb rise for his latest comfortable victory at Plumpton. Just Josie had just the two starts last term but won them both and goes well fresh while recent Fakenham winner Local Present is enjoying a new lease of life and is still fairly handicapped on his best form. Red Mile, Massini Sunset and Promised Wings all made the frame last time with the latter making most appeal back over fences today.
