In depth

Verdict

RUN TO FLY hasn't show a great deal so far over hurdles but his pedigree suggests he will come on in leaps and bounds now tackling fences and Peter Bowen is starting him off at a realistic level. The six-year-old can get the better of Quartz Du Montceau, who was runner-up over C&D earlier in the month but has rather struggled since scoring at Plumpton last April. Points winner Bohemian Rock has been disappointing so far under Rules, while the mare Romney Marsh invariably finds at least one too good and Delgany Gunner seems devoid of any pace and again races from out of the handicap proper here.
