Verdict

Muqalad finished a close-up third to Dancing Freddy on his Fibresand debut a fortnight ago and a race of this nature should come his way before long. Bertbrand finished in front of Convince when fourth here last month but the latter was having his first start after a break and can reverse the form. Dickie Le Davoir won off a higher mark at Hamilton last August but hasn't scored on the all-weather since 2008 and FIGARO FLYER is preferred. He won over C&D last month and is reunited with winning partner Michael Stainton here.
