Verdict

Philipstown finished nearly four lengths behind Venetian View at Kempton in September and the latter went on to score again at the same track with CURZON LINE a couple of lengths behind. The Godolphin colt should just edge it here on that form and make Frankie's only ride on the card a winning one. Journalistic is not without a chance too as he shares the same official rating as the selection having gone very close at Salisbury in September, but Choice Words failed to improve on last month's debut when well beaten at Kempton last time. Van Ellis cost 140,000gns and on that score is worth noting on his debut.
