Nothing to inspire much confidence in this opener though Tim Easterby's yard is showing signs of a return to form and ART DZEKO is the tentative selection. His third at Haydock in June is just about the best piece of form on offer and he should go well on his handicap bow. Menelik went backwards last season after a fair debut at Newmarket and may do better here while Trending and Bitter Lemon have slipped down the weights this year and should be thereabouts. Maria Montez went close at a big price over C&D last month only to disappoint when sent off joint-favourite at Lingfield last time.
