In depth

Verdict

Malaaq has the form to win this with College Scholar and L'Oiseau de Feu both given a chance. The selection has run with credit on all three of his runs to date and caught the eye when third to Valley Of The Moon last time out at Catterick and with conditions to suit here he is taken to break his maiden tag fourth time of asking. L'Oiseau de Feu ran well enough to finish mid division on his debut. He looked very green that day and was very slow away so with that experience behind him he will fair better this time around so any market moves should be noted. College Scholar was fourth of seven on his bow at Newmarket and again will come on for the run but for the winner we return to Malaaq.
