In depth

Verdict

Caldra can break his maiden tag third time of asking at the expense of Toggle and Wait Watcher. The selection has run well on both his starts to date. He steps up in trip this time after finishing a pleasing fourth here over six furlongs last time. He looked to be staying on one paced that day and will definitely appreciate this trip so with conditions to suit he will prove hard to beat. Toggle finished thirteenth of seventeen on his debut at Newbury and will need to improve on that to figure here. He was very green though that day so with that experience under his belt he looks set to show more this time. Wait Watcher showed more on her debut at Hamilton when second to Hinton Admiral so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Wait Watcher.
