Verdict

This looks an easy opportunity for Perfect Portrait to add to last seasons sole victory at the expense of Michelle Ma Belle and Baker Of Oz. David Loder's son of Selkirk landed a maiden at Leicester beating some pretty moderate animals, he is the type to improve with age and can see off another bunch of poor performers. The best of his rivals could be Michelle Ma Belle who was a model of consistency in handicaps last season and should be spot on after a couple of recent visits to Lingfield. Baker Of Oz let his supporters down last time at Woverhampton when well behind Hawkit, however he is much better judged on his previous effort when finishing runner up to Certifiable at Lingfield. Of the remainder Chateau Nicol does at least boast winning form on the all-weather and could be fighting for a place, but Perfect Portrait has a lot more scope for improvement than his rivals and is taken to land the spoils.
