PURPLE LANE is almost certain to improve on his comeback third at Newmarket and is less exposed than the majority of rivals in this. He can get the better of Haydock fourth Ghosting and On Demand, who looks very one-paced and hasn't raced since an expensive flop at Southwell in March. Sweet P has an even longer absence to overcome while Shimba Hills has had plenty of chances. Tullia has plenty of form on soft ground so has to be a danger, however, if you overlook a shocking effort last time at Windsor.
