In depth

Verdict

Gabrial The Duke has been disappointing since beating Miss Blakeney at Salisbury in June and the runner-up is now 6lb better off. Golden Jubilee won over track and trip just over a year ago but is still 4lb higher and looks vulnerable again while Scoppio Del Carro never really threatened off this mark at Leicester last time, though did meet trouble in-running. LIGHT OF ASIA should take all the beating as he's bred for this trip and has been running well over a mile. His Hamilton conqueror, Porthos Du Vallon, has won again since.
