Verdict

Eaton Rock is well capable of landing a contest of this nature but threw away a clear winning chance at Southwell last time and is hard to trust. However, this is a modest contest and he's definitely shortlisted. Butlergrove King has to be in the mix too as he is descending the handicap and will surely be competitive off his new mark but both will have their work cut out if PRETTYLITTLETHING is tuned up on her return to action despite the steadier of 12-3. She was shrewdly placed by the excellent Neil Mulholland to land three of her last four runs last term and this looks a good starting point for her new campaign. Tidestream pulled up on his only start over the larger obstacles but remains of interest as he had some useful form over timber.
