In depth

Verdict

A couple of decent sorts here in Wyldello and Tambourine Davis and we take the former to score, with Nannys Gift, Karrie and Rosita Bay others to consider. The selection put up a very pleasing debut when 10 lengths adrift of the talented Kicks For Free at Wincanton last month. She appreciates cut in the ground and looks to have a decent opportunity to confirm that promise with a win. Nicky Henderson also does well in these sort of contests and is in great form, so Tambourine Davis will have her supporters. She was given a more gentle introduction in a 1m 5f bumper at Newbury in December and was running on for second, so she will be a very interested party here. Nannys Gift went well on her Haydock debut last month and will be better for this less boggy ground, while Karrie has to improve from her c&d outing last time, and Rosita Bay may be a better option. She has dual winning form but has to carry penalties for that and while she is not expected to win she can go well. But Wyldello left a good impression at Wincanton and can go one better here.
