    Verdict

Henderson bumper runners at Fakenham are ignored at your peril and we'll look no further than KATMAI. Anis Etoile, Inner Pride and Sittella are interesting opponents. There have been just nine bumper runners hailing from Seven Barrows at this track in recent seasons but four of those have come home in front and this half-sister to none other than Best Mate is fancied to improve the strike rate. She is National Hunt bred though so there is a chance that some of her Flat bred opponents could have too much speed for her. Anis Etoile represents a yard that sent out a well backed winner of a bumper here in 2007 and the market may tell us whether she's expected to star. Inner Pride is related to winners and represents a shrewd yard whilst a stablemate of Sittella's recently made a winning debut at Uttoxeter in a similar contest so she must be accorded respect. That said, we prefer to side with Katmai who looks the part on paper and is expected to look the part on the racecourse.
