Verdict

REVUE PRINCESS is narrowly preferred here to Handsinthemist and Silk Gallery. Tim Easterby has started the season well and his Mull Of Kintyre filly Revue Princess could provide another winner. Interestingly she races without the blinkers (on for final two starts last season to no effect) but she has already shown an ability to act on quick ground and she is fancied to run a big race. Another Socket ran well in defeat a fortnight ago. Looking at her breeding one would assume that she would need further than this minimum trip but she has plenty of pace and should not be taken lightly. Handsinthemist has been in good form on the all-weather of late and if she can transfer that form back to the turf then she must be considered off this 6lb higher mark. Silk Gallery is consistent, as is Gap Princess but certainly the latter looks badly handicapped. Course and distance winner Miacarla is another for the shortlist despite this mark of 58 looking to be a touch on the high side, whilst Toy Top is a dangerous front-runner and this track looks sure to suit. A tough start to the card with preference for Revue Princess.
