BATTLING SPIRIT (NAP) is the only one of these to have won over the trip which he did at Clonmel in December. He didn't quite get home over 3m here last month but it was a very good effort and he can go in again. Brosna George has yet to win in 14 starts but his best run came over this course and distance in November when runner-up. Bettatogether has only had two runs for Gordon Elliott after transferring from Alan King and hasn't shown much while Cairnshill went up 10lb for a very easy victory at Kilbeggan last summer. The latter ran poorly on his reappearance earlier this month but is better than that. Jazz Ranger ran quite well at Thurles last time but has a very poor strike-rate.
