Verdict

Indrik was in the front rank for most of the way over 2m4f at Tipperary and, though eventually put in his place by the useful Monbeg Notorious, the shorter trip should play to his strengths. Winning point-to-pointer Moyross made a fair start at Leopardstown though is likely to do better when tackling obstacles but Mr Champers showed improved form to chase home Aeglos at Leopardstown and, with further progress likely, can get into the action here. OAKLEY HALL was always being scrubbed along on his debut at Down Royal but kept responding and ran on to finish second behind stable companion Broken Soul. He'll have come on a bundle for the experience and looks the one to be on.
