Townshend won over hurdles at Auteuil before joining Willie Mullins and went to Perth in April to easily land a novices' hurdle. He'll be expected to improve over fences but Double Scores will need to jump much better than he did at Thurles last month and over these fences on his previous start. A Great View had some strong form over timber to his credit before making his chasing debut and though eventually well beaten in both starts he's come up against Min and Yorkhill. BALLYOISIN won a point-to-point on his debut and after a promising start over timber at Punchestown then won a Naas maiden in a canter. He was bowling along in front on his chasing debut here on New Year's Day when falling four out and, if none the worse, can take this before going on to better things.
