In depth

Verdict

SUMKINDASUPRSTAR had looked a promising type in his early days but lost his way so it was no surprise when he started 25/1 for a Limerick handicap last time. What was surprising however was his performance as he bounced back to form with a smooth success over today's rival Profit Margin and a 7lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. City Of Doral has struggled since being put up 10lb for his Sligo victory in September and The Corby Glenn has won just once in 23 starts over fences so connections won't be happy with a 6lb rise for his second at Down Royal last time. Doctor Woodfield isn't the most consistent of performers but ran well enough at Limerick to suggest he's in good shape and Lusiad looks ready to lose his maiden tag over fences judging by a very good performance over this C&D last month.
