Verdict

The very testing conditions were ideal for Forjoethepainter at Limerick last month and he gained a convincing success. He's been raised 7lb but with his rider able to claim almost half back he will be difficult to beat. However, FIVE POINT PLAN, who was beaten 17l into fifth, was travelling well for much of the way before fading at the last and with a decent pull in the weights a chance is taken that he can reverse the form and gain his first success over timber. Tipped Up Harry was suited by soft ground when scoring at Cork but today's ground will be much more testing and may not suit. Mister First looks a threat as he had been running quite well over fences before being brought down when reverting to hurdles at Limerick and can run from a very favourable mark.
