In depth

Verdict

Most of these enter the fray out of sorts including Zara, who was a disappointing beaten favourite at Thurles last week. Eddie Zero was also market leader when well beaten at Ballinrobe last May and hasn't been seen since while Goosing Around was beaten in a point-to-point in October and is making her handicap debut. Bad Cigar looks too high in the weights for what he's achieved so a chance is taken with MAD FOR ROAD. He was having just his third start over timber behind Money Spider at Punchestown and though well beaten he was impeded at a crucial stage before staying on. Paddy O Dee is much better over fences but runs here off a 24lb lower mark and with Mark Enright able to use his claim he looks the main threat.
