Steel Wave shot up the weights after scoring at Galway in September but has continued to perform with credit and can carry his big weight with credit. He's closely matched with Authorative, who beat him narrowly at Gowran last month and the latter has since run well in a better race at Cork. It's a long time since Dactik won a race but he's a real specialist around here when the mud is flying and any further rain would greatly enhance his prospects. Tb Broke Her has been steadily improving in recent weeks and finished a long way clear of the third when runner-up to Santo Prince at Wexford. Further progress should see her in the frame again but the vote goes to MISDFLIGHT. Denis Hogan's charge showed nothing in maidens but attracted a bit of support on his handicap debut at Down Royal and ran a very promising second behind Pace And Passion. Popboru is another who made a bright start in a handicap at Gowran and can get involved in a tricky finale.
