Verdict

Ballyroe Rambler won a maiden hurdle here in November 2013 and though not seen since the following month he was looking a nice prospect and still has time on his side. Bridies Boy has been looking progressive over hurdles since stepping up to three miles and might just find this on the short side so in the hope that his fall at Limerick hasn't affected his confidence ROCK ON FRUITY is taken to make amends. Charles Byrnes' charge was unlucky to tumble on landing that day and though he wouldn't have beaten Lord Scoundrel that winner would be long odds-on here as he's won twice subsequently including a Grade 3. Solita has won three times over hurdles and has every chance of making a chaser on breeding but the main threat looks to be Mustadrik, who ran a superb race to finish runner-up to Battling Boru on his chasing debut at Downpatrick and has the age allowance.
