In depth

Verdict

Thomas Blossom wasn't beaten far on the Flat following his third at Uttoxeter so makes more appeal than Ice Konig, who finished tailed off at Bath in July after a couple of seconds at Newton Abbot. Agincourt Reef ran poorly over fences at Fontwell on his reappearance but should strip fitter here while Vintage Salon is one of two runners that have travelled over from James Nash's County Kildare yard. The novice HAHNENKAM was in front at this trip at Wincanton on Friday so it may be significant that he makes a quick reappearance and drops in distance.
