In depth

Verdict

Tora Bora is taken to continue in his winning ways and defy his seven pound penalty at the expense of Pedros Brief and Magot de Grugy. The selection has been in winning form at Uttoxeter and Market Rasen and because of his penalty in effect he runs off the same mark again. Connections must feel he is still potentially well in so is worth another chance to score again. Pedros Brief has won two from five. But since those wins nearly two years ago he has been plagued with injury and his form has not been the same since so until signs of ability are shown again he is to be treated with caution. Magot de Grugy looked in need of his first outing at Stratford last month and will strip fitter this time so is worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Tora Bora.
