In depth

Verdict

Keswick can land the opener at the expense of Minella Tipperary and Captain Flinders. The selection was in winning form at Towcester last time out when getting the better of Velvet Dove. That was when trained by Nicky Henderson and the fact that he has moved to a less fashionable trainer is a concern but he runs off the same mark so has to be respected first time out for new connections. Minella Tipperary has run with credit on both his two starts this autumn. He was in winning form at Uttoxeter before finisfing second behind Blaeberry over course and distance last time out. He looks an improving type and will be the biggest danger to the selection for sure. Captain Flinders ran well first time out and comes from a yard that usually come on for their first outings so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Keswick.
