Verdict

All four runners have a chance of success here but the vote goes to Twisted Logic. Robert Alner's charge is well into his veteran stage of his career at the age of thirteen but is now down to a mark that he is more than capable of winning off. He has also showed signs of coming back to form when third over course and distance and the fact that he is also a course specialist means he is a horse to stay on the right side of. Metal Detector finished fifth on his latest start at Perth earlier in the month and will have to raise his game here as does Lucky Leader who made a series of blunders before unseating his rider last time out. Sissinghurst Storm won back to back races at Chepstow in April but the handicapper has taken note and he was exposed last time out at the same track behind Blazing Batman so is to be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to Twisted Logic.
