Verdict

A small field again and it is EXMOOR RANGER who is preferred to Panjo Bere. The selection was a faller when last seen at Huntingdon when well fancied. He had previously won a three mile Beginners' Chase at this track and can return to winning ways assuming his confidence is intact. Panjo Bere chases a hat-trick; he was an easy winner at Plumpton when last seen but he was left clear at the last so may have been flattered. He also has stamina to prove on a track like this and is taken on. Knapp Bridge Boy is still a maiden, whilst No Panic is a 133-rated hurdler and cannot be underestimated on his fencing debut. Oscar Bay was well held recently behind Nevada Royale and has the cheek-pieces back on today; he may improve for that but it is Exmoor Ranger who can win.
