Verdict

SANDY BOY narrowly failed in his hat-trick bid at Chepstow. He races off the same mark here and is clearly at the top of his game so is the one to beat. Pemberley is interesting off bottom weight given he’s almost certain to improve for the step up in trip and has had just the four starts over hurdles. However, like April’s Newton Abbot winner Ballybough Nora and Buster Edwards, he lacks a recent run. Doctor Look Here was in good form at Newton Abbot in the summer and is 3lb lower than when successful over this track and trip in May so rates a danger while Heavey also looks in decent nick.
