In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap gets proceedings underway and many would have chances on there best form but the principals look to be Longstone Lady, Dorneys Well and Coach Lane and the narrow vote is given to Dorneys Well. The selection has been in fair form of late and was a fair second last time out behind Andy Gin. That form looks rock solid and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Longstone Lady rates the main danger as she won well last time out when beating Native Commander but she has a penalty for that win and that may just find her out. Coach Lane is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type and for that reason he is opposed. Fuss had shown a modicum of ability and enters handicaps off a fair mark so should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Honan Has the ability to go close but does not always ordain to use it and for the winner we return to Dorneys Well.
