In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with a few unexposed types in opposition and the main protagonists look to be Cornerback, Amber Brook and Thebelloftheball and the vote is given to Cornerback. The selection hails from the inform Nicky Richards yard won well last time when beating Ellerslie Ali with plenty in hand and with more improvement likely she looks the one to be on. Amber Brook rates the main danger as she also won well last time out when beating Orchard King but she is more exposed than the selection and will need to improve again to score giving weight to all her rivals. Thebelloftheball is another that could go well on her best form but she took a heavy fall last time out and it is hard to know if her confidence would have been effected. Kerry's Girl has ran with promise in bumper's and could improve for the switch to hurdles so should be watched in the market. Of the others Mums Chatterbox is a bumper winner and could improve over hurdles back on this faster ground while Rate Of Knots and Princess Flame are other last time out winners that have definite place claims but Cornerback looked good last time and she gets our vote.
