In depth

Verdict

Topweight Windle Brook, a two length winner over course and distance last time, has more on his plate now off a 7lb higher mark, although now that trainer Kim Bailey has found the right trip for the son of Gildoran it would be foolish to write him off completely. Bit Of A Snob is another last time out winner who warrants respect but that was back in August so Jeff King's 11-year-old can realistically be expected to need the outing. Old campaigners Coolteen Hero and Morstock are still capable of winning a race of this nature but do not win very often.
