In depth

Verdict

Martin Pipe looks to have found a decent opportunity for Canadiane to open her account over fences having found herself in the handicapper's grip over hurdles and with Tony McCoy in the saddle she is bound to be popular. The Paul Nicholls-trained Janiture was of a similar ability over timber and gets the age allowance from Pipe's horse, while Just In Time, from the Phillip Hobbs stable was the best of these over hurdles and if able to translate that ability over the larger obstacles should take all the beating.
