        Verdict

There's not a great deal of solid form to go on here, and it is probably worth taking a chance that John Gosden's Mujarad is fit enough to do himself justice on his seasonal debut. He shaped well in both of his maidens last season, and providing he handles this fast surface, is probably the safest bet. Clive Brittain's Estimate would be a big danger if reproducing the form of her third at Warwick last year, but ran too badly on her reappearance to warrant any support this time. Of the remainder, Andrew Balding's Desert Arc was only a modest performer in bumpers and a bigger danger could be Mark Johnston's Theorist, who looked backward as a two-year-old and seems sure to improve on his sole start at Ripon.
